“The Portal has certainly been a success and we’re happy to be using it. The system flexibility made the M09 process smoother than in previous years and the software team are very responsive to feedback. We certainly intend to continue using it. In addition to this, an unintentional benefit we found, was the impact for the day to day Credit Control process which means that queries are directed to the authorizing organisation.
This has led to queries being dealt with promptly which in turn should aid cash flow amongst NHS Organisations overall. Finally, the facility to upload other Organisation
statements to the system has helped with the accruals process as well as ensure that there is a full
reconciliation for those organisations that are not on the Portal yet.”
